How many angels are there?

Angel means "messenger." Alhough their number is vast (Dan. 7:10; Rev. 5:11), there is no definite number of angels recorded in Bible. Angels are created beings (Heb. 1). No new angels are being added to their present number. Angels are not subject to "physical" death (cf. 2 Pet. 2:4; Jude 1:6), therefore they do not decrease in number.
